Quantum VX900 Features
Active Sensing Unit ASU-V35 - Quantum VX900
The Active Sensing Unit ASU-V35 is used within the Quantum VX900 system to enhance the accuracy of ground scanning and document motion and location data.
The unit relies on integrated sensors to monitor the movements of the search coil along the horizontal and vertical axes (X, Y, Z), while recording the real-time geographic location and the coil's height above the ground during scanning.
The main functions of the ASU-V35 unit include:
- Determining the precise coordinates of the start and end points of the scanning path.
- Drawing the boundaries of the scanning area and displaying the movement path within the graphical map.
- Accurately measuring the dimensions of the scanned area (length X width).
- Analyzing data to extract the target’s depth and geometric shape.
- Providing three-dimensional data to represent the target’s volume and dimensions in the subsurface space.
The ASU-V35 unit features real-time data processing and transmission to the device’s display and control unit, enabling the generation of accurate imaging maps without the need for additional equipment.
